Wurster Community:

The Wurster Hall CED wireless network is now operational. The wireless network provides access to the World Wide Web, Novell services and email for all members of the CED community on their personal machines. The wireless network is operational on all studio floors in the tower, The CED library reading area and the lecture halls and lobby on the first floor. To access the wireless network you must first have a computing account with one of the CED departments and second attend a wireless orientation.  Similar to the previous semester, we will be offering orientations as needed.

Orientations are open to students from any department. The orientation will be an opportunity for you to learn how to use the new wireless network and to get help configuring your machine to use your wireless card. Any 802.11a or 802.11b wireless card will work on the network so feel free to come with your laptop and a card for help. Additionally we will provide information on where to purchase cards and on how to choose between the 802.11a and 802.11b standard.
